Shakespeare Play

Torsten's Shakespeare class performed "As You Like It" Saturday night at the Oakley Opera House. I was so amazed at how well all the kids remembered their difficult lines and they did a great job of acting! It was such a fun night! I, of course, forgot my camera (aaaaggh!) but luckily, Torsten's piano teacher was there and took some pictures. Here is Torsten in his "forester" costume after the play.

That is so cool! Good job, Torsten! What is it with busy moms and forgetting the camera? I swear I need a personal secretary to follow me around and think of things like that.

Did you make his costume? And I know what you mean about forgetting the camera. I used to do that all the time...but then I bought a smaller one that I always keep in my purse (for that just in case photo opportunity!) I just have to remember to charge the battery every other week or so!!

I "made" his costume by playing around with a suit jacket and dress shirt that I got at a thrift store. I sewed the lapels under and we poked holes for a black shoelace from Joel's shoe, etc. It was fun to brainstorm....
