Family home evening

There is a great family in our ward, the Barzees, that we love getting together with because they are always up for an adventure. It's fun because most of our children match up too. You never know what we might do: dehorn calves, help someone move, pick cockleburrs, anonymously deliver Christmas treats, pull out Russian olive trees and cut them for firewood, play basketball, celebrate a birthday, or have FHE together. One family home evening we discussed temples then for the activity/dessert we broke into groups and built temples with an assortment of cookies. The kids enjoyed eating their architectural masterpieces when we were done.
